As a designer and developer of websites and database systems, backed up by
extensive knowledge of graphical interfaces, I know what creates a successful website.

Over the years I have furthered my knowledge surrounding the concept and
implementation of many different website languages, which combined can create a
unique look for every website.

Although there are currently many packages on the market which can create good
sites, there is always something special and unique about having a site designed and
developed specifically for your needs and requirements.

Having spent many years developing sites, I have also developed expertise in the ever
changing requirements of having your site appear at the top of the list of many search
engines. This is known as SEO (Search Engine Optimisation). I have, through persistent
hard work, managed to get various websites on the first page of many search engines
with out the need for pay per click, which is effective, but costly.

Whether it is a site for advertising your services, enabling users to generate a quote,
filling in an application form, or simply giving information, I have the experience to
design and develop your site with as much or as little technology as it requires.

Since designing my first website in 2001 for a cancer support organisation, I appreciate
what colours work together, which layouts work best and what your site needs to say
to visitors on the home page. More importantly, I am also aware of what doesn’t work.
